“You know, death doesn’t start with the body. It’s something that begins long before that. Death doesn’t start with your organs. Even when you’re sick, your heart keeps on beating, doesn’t it? No. No one realizes where it truly begins. It’s little by little, bit by bit. And no one realizes.”
How are we to live in this world, so full of omens for events that are never to occur?
Alone in a desert, a man who keeps watch over his lover’s dead body. Passing by, a garbage collector and a kappa. An unfinished story, told by ordinary people.
This performance will be specially presented as a “work in progress” in which the entire production process including setup and rehearsal will be made available for public viewing. Rarely seen in other artistic works, NO PROGRESS puts the thought processes of its creator on full display to its audience, adding an extra dimension to the usual theater-going experience.
