Shakespeare's masterpiece Romeo and Juliet is created in collaboration with Japanese theater unit Haruka from Toyama and Lithuanian contemporary artist TADAOCERN. Romeo and Juliet will be disassembled and restructured around themes such as Japanese sentimental and farewell as the theater unit concept. The new Romeo and Juliet will be staged using various techniques such as dance, Japanese dance, silence and video production.

The company concept is Japanese sentimentality. Melancholic farewells are a constant in young people's daily lives. Our play is composed of five to ten minute short scenes joined together, not in sequential order. Our performances are praised for artistic design that emphasizes space and shadow. We specialize in performing nonsensical comedy. In this piece, we take the essence of the farewell scene from Romeo & Juliet and use it to create a new work. Japanese culture is a major influence on this unique adaptation of Romeo & Juliet, created by a group of young artists and performers.
