Cultural manager focused on cultural diplomacy and artistic exchange. Head of international projects at TR Warszawa, contemporary repertoire theatre in Warsaw, lead by Grzegorz Jarzyna, artistic director of the company for 20 years. TR Warszawa produce and present performances by Kornél Mundruczó, René Pollesh or Anna Karasińska. Advisor on external relationships for Malta Festival Poznań, that in 2020 will celebrate its 30th edition. Besides Malta Festival, she built her career working for many cultural institutions and NGO initiatives in Poland such as PR manager for Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, the Old Brewery New Dance Programme and the National Audiovisual Institute.

Born in Taipei, Gwen joined the team of Weiwuying in 2017 and is based in Europe since 2010 as senior arts manager to support young talents, artists for international developments. With a wealth of experiences in cultural exchanges, Gwen aims at strengthening mutual understanding in different cultural contexts and building partnerships between artists, cultural institutions and public organizations.

Luiz Felipe Reis is the artistic director and curator of the internatinal theater festival Cena Brasil Internacional (www.cenabrasilinternacional.com.br), which happens every year in Rio de Janeiro. He is the founder of Polifônica Cia, alongside Julia Lund. As a playwright and director, Luiz Felipe Reis creates his own theatre works for Polifônica such as "The useless biography of an ordinary man" (2014), "We are going away" (2015), "Love in two acts" (2016) and "Galaxies I" (2018).  He is also a journalist and writes about music and performing arts in newspapers. Between 2010 and 2018 he was the editor in chief for performing arts coverage at O Globo newspaper (http://oglobo.globo.com).

Mr. Miller holds a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University. In 2010, Mr. Miller joined the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust team, where he worked planning and execution of many of the Trust’s programming initiatives. Miller was responsible for the management of several performance series such as the Pittsburgh Dance Council, Trust Cabaret, and Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents. He also played a central role in many of the Trusts non-annual festivals. In 2016 he was appointed Director of Dance Programming and Special Projects. He oversees the direction of the Pittsburgh Dance Council, Multiple Choice Events, Trust Cabaret, Pittsburgh Humanities Festival, and other special projects.

Member of APP (Asian Producers' Platform) since 2014. Founding member of Dramaturg / Japan (since 2015). Since 2017, he is working also for Tokyo Festival as programmer.

The Kinosaki International Art Center (KIAC) is a venue which specialises in performing arts, and holds artist in residencies in Toyooka City, Hyogo. Established in 2014, the venue is in an area away from the bustle of the city that provides space to focus on creation. It has one hall, six studios and the capacity for up to 22 residences at a time, making it one of the largest creative spaces of its kind in Japan. Every spring we accept around 20 artists proposals for residencies in the following year, and organise 3 performances. Chris Vaughan is a British curator of contemporary performance arts and is Founder of UK-based Thirty Three Thirty Three (33-33), the internationally acclaimed London-based series St John Sessions and the annual MODE Festival which, in its inaugural year (2018), was curated by Oscar-winning Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. Chris has worked internationally with partners in Japan, Ghana, Cairo and Beirut and in 2016 he established MASÅFÅT; an open-ended international platform fostering artistic and professional exchange between independent artists and arts professionals across the Middle East, North Africa and the UK.

Ekaterina Alekseenko is an Executive Director of the Meyerhold Theatre Centre, Moscow. She was a pioneer of the Russian contemporary dance and theatre management for both nongovernmental cultural organizations and the State. Meyerhold Theatre Centre is a theatre venue and production house in Moscow for independent multi-disciplinary groups of artists focused on the research and development of new artistic language. The Meyerhold Centre’s activities are in experimental theatre research, whose program spans the spectrum of contemporary theatre art including new drama, contemporary dance and performance art. She curates the international program “Performance Art at Meyerhold Center”.

Performing arts curator, researcher and dramaturg. Co-runs Performing Arts Institute in Warsaw, Poland. 2012-2017 she curated Konfrontacje Teatralne with Grzegorz Reske. She created and curates the EEPAP. Regularly teaches theatre and curatorial studies at universities in Poland. Among others, she cooperated with Teatr Powszechny in Warszawa, Teatr Polski in Bydgoszcz, Adam Mickiewicz Institute and Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute in Warsaw. Over the last 20 years, Mateo has connected to culture and acquired a global vision of artistic fact from different angles and perspectives. He's the Artistic Director of Naves Matadero - International Living Centre. He has carried out diverse functions in cultural management, artistic creation, distribution and technical works; these have provided him with a perspective which allows him to anticipate and understand the needs of various aspects of arts and culture. As an artistic creator he has participated in national and international works. As artistic director, manager and curator he has promoted and supported a variety of projects and has been a director of public and private entities.

Stephen Armstrong is a producer and programmer with a specific interest in commissions and intercultural projects - he is currently Creative Director of Asia TOPA, a triennial festival of contemporary arts and culture from across Asia and the Pacific. The second edition of Asia TOPA will be presented from January to March in 2020.

While studying at the Faculty of Sustainability Studies of Hosei University, he assisted of Nishi-Sugamo Arts Factory since its establishment. And he assisted stage directors, managers and directors of various performances. After having worked in ST Spot and Steep Slope Studio, in April 2016 he is incumbent position. In addition to taking charge of the emerging artist support program "Saka-Agari Scholarship", he plans and produces performances, workshops and so on. Vice President of NPO ST Spot Yokohama.

Austin graduated from MFA in Stage and Lighting Design, University of Southern California, USA. Worked as Senior Production Manager and Stage Designer for Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, works like Moon Water, Songs of the Wanderers. And worked with many Taiwanese reputed troupes as stage and lighting designer or technical director. Selected honors and awards: Belvedere International Achievement Award (2004); juror of Prague Quadrennial and the convener of Taiwan, winning the Gold Medal for Best Use of Technology (2007); chief stage designer for the opening/closing ceremony of Taipei Deaflympics (2009); and National Award of Arts presented by the National Culture and Arts Foundation (2014).

Gita Hastarika is Kelola’s new Director following 2 years as its Program Manager. Kelola, set up in 1999, is Indonesia's sole non-governmental institution providing access to local and international learning opportunities, funding, and information; partnering with international organizations as well as local philanthropists to provide funds for the creation of performing arts, festivals, workshops, residencies, and empowering women artists, supporting over 3,000 choreographers, composers, directors, and art workers. Gita trained as an architect at the University of Indonesia, has experience as an editor for architecture and design, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Anthropology.

Marijke De Moor is the international relations officer for performing arts at the Flanders Arts Institute, an expertise centre for the performing arts, visual arts and classic music scene in Flanders and Brussels. Flanders Arts Institute supports and stimulates the development of the arts and policy. The organisation works in 3 main areas: analysis & research of the arts, support for artists and organisations, and the internationalisation of the arts. The institute aims to build sustainable international relations and to encourage exchange and cooperation internationally. De Moor is also co-founder of ASSITEJ Belgium, a network organisation for performing arts for young audiences.

Born in Tokyo in 1965. Masayoshi is the chief producer at Toyohashi Arts Theatre PLAT. He started getting involved in theatre at Tokyo Metropolitan University, and launched a theatre company after his graduation. He had worked in Setagaya Public Theatre between April 1998 and March 2012. He managed the areas of publicity, facility control, production, technical field and curation. He became a staff member at Toyohashi Cultural Foundation in April 2012, and works as an art and culture producer since last year at Toyohashi Arts Theatre PLAT which opened in April 2013.

Born 1968 in the GDR, Schmidkte studied directing for drama theatre at the Russian Academy for Theatre. 1996-1999 he was part of the artistic team at BARACKE at Deutsches Theater Berlin. Since 2001 he has been Artistic Director of forum festwochen ff at Wiener Festwochen, director of the festival Theaterformen 2007 and 2008 (Hanover and Braunschweig) and 2011-2014 Chief Dramaturg at Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Since 2014 he has been the Artistic Director of the drama department and Chief Dramaturg of Wiener Festwochen. 2016-2018, he built up the program and event department of the Humboldt Forum in Berlin. For the festival Theater der Welt 2020 in Duesseldorf, he will be Artistic Director.

Graduated from the Science of Design, Musashino Art University. She started her career as a theatre producer of reset-N in 2003. While working as an assistant manager at a commercial theatre from 2003–2006, She produced several performances and managed tours inside Japan and international exchange projects. Since 2007, A staff member at Art Network Japan. In the year of 2007–2012, she took part in the establishment of Kawasaki Art Center and focused on the various projects for contemporary dance and theatre and for young theater artists. A production co-ordinator since 2012 and the co-director since 2018 at Festival/Tokyo.

Emily Sexton is Artistic Director of Arts House, Melbourne’s centre for contemporary performance. Her previous roles include Head of Programming for the Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas (2014-17), Artistic Director of Next Wave (2010-14) and Creative Producer of Melbourne Fringe (2008-10). Emily was awarded a Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship in 2014 and is alumni of the Australia Council’s Leadership Program (2018). Across Emily's curatorial work is an abiding interest in international exchange, reciprocity and collaboration. She has long maintained a commitment to the empowerment and programming of First Nations artists, which is reflected in much of her proudest curatorial work.

Feng-chih Tsou, Head of Programming Section at the National Theater & Concert Hall, Taipei. She also works as a producer in cross-cultural international productions. In her early career at the National Theatre, she was the promoter for theatre and dance programs. Tsou graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with MA in Drama and Theatre Studies.

Francisco Frazão is artistic director of Teatro do Bairro Alto, a Lisbon city theatre devoted to experimental, emerging and international work. From 2004 to 2017 he was theatre programmer at arts centre Culturgest, which during that time presented work by Elevator Repair Service, Forced Entertainment, Lola Arias, Philippe Quesne, Deborah Pearson, tg STAN and Tim Crouch, among many others, while co-producing local theatre-makers like Tiago Rodrigues, Cão Solteiro, Teatro Praga, Mala Voadora and Mónica Calle. Francisco has worked as translator and dramaturg (namely for theatre company Artistas Unidos) and has written and taught classes and seminars on theatre, film and literature.

Literature graduate from the University of Tokyo, worked with Parco Theater from 1985, HoriPro from 1998, and now with Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre since 2010, producing works of Yukio Ninagawa, Hideki Noda, Koki Mitani, Amon Miyamoto, Tomohiro Maekawa, Takahiro Fujita and Purcărete among others. Engaged in works in Japan, abroad, and with international collaborations. Notables include: "Love Letters", "King Lear" "Napoleon" and "Sweeney Todd". Invited artists include: Tadeusz Kantor, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Ivo van Hove etc. Toured "THE BEE" to 10 cities around the world, "One Green Bottle" to 4, and involved in Ninagawa's international collaborative production of "Women of Troy".

Yoko Shioya is the Artistic Director of Japan Society, where she has expanded works related to Japanese culture by non-Japanese artists and increased JS-produced tours in North America. She's launched initiatives to co-produce work by international artists in Japan, present works from East Asia, and establish residencies in NYC. As a writer/researcher on arts support, Shioya has been invited to speak at symposia, lectures, and TV programs. She has been a contributor to Asahi newspaper, and a committee member/selection panelist for many prestigious programs. Shioya holds BAs from Tokyo National University of the Arts. In 2019, she was awarded Bessies Presenter Award for Outstanding Curating.

Lynn Fu is a Shanghai based independent performing arts programmer and consultant with over ten years’ experience, working with various theaters, festivals and organizations in China. She used to work for the British Council in Shanghai and New York for many years. In 2017 and 2018, she served as the head of international programs of Wuzhen Theatre Festival, an eminent theater festival in China, and the director of international programming at the Great Theatre of China. She currently oversees the international program of Yue Opera Town, an ambitious cultural tourism project in Zhejiang province. She also represents Modern Maori Quartet, an Auckland based award-winning vocal group in China.

Norman Armour is a performing arts specialist with over 30 years of experience with the stage, site-specific practices, and other media. Based out of Vancouver, he currently works with the Australia Council for the Arts as the International Development Consultant for North America (Canada, USA). His career has included work as an interdisciplinary collaborator, festival and stage director, curator, and theatre and film producer. In 2005, he co-founded the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, and served as its Artistic and Executive Director for the past 14 years. Prior to that, he established Rumble Theatre as a mainstay of Vancouver’s thriving independent theatre scene.

Choreographer, curator and producer of contemporary dance and live arts focused on national and international projects. She collaborates with creators, curators and organizations from Germany, Romania, Mexico and Brazil. Choreographer of the National System of Art Creators of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts since 2018. General Director of Laboratorio puntoD (founded in 2004), which performs her work, and conducts residences, co-productions, and art/economy/politics workshops with Mexican and international creators. Artistic Director and co-curator of Festival EINCE in Guadalajara (Mexico) which holds networking events, presentations, residences, laboratory and workshops.

Rebecca Kezia graduated from the University of Indonesia in 2014, where she was actively involved in campus theater productions and several professional productions as a playwright. She has worked freelance for several art programs as producer, moderator, and researcher at Jakarta Arts Council. Since then she's worked both sides of performing arts; managing productions as well as creating. Currently she works for Komunitas Salihara as Programmer and assists Salihara Production performances. Her latest project was as guest curator at the Indonesia Dramatic Reading Festival 2018 and dramaturg for “Other Motherland” by Rosie Clynes presented at the Literature and Ideas Festival Salihara 2018.

Sven Birkeland is the artistic and managing director of BIT Teatergarasjen, the dance biennial Oktoberdans and the theatre biennial Meteor. Birkeland curates programs for festivals, theatres, museums and galleries in Norway and abroad, and is a member of Arts Council Norway. Birkeland lives and works from his base in Bergen. Before working within the art field he did studies at the University of Stavanger (culture, film, sociology) and the University of Bergen (theatre science).

Working with Yokohama Arts Foundation since 2011 after engaging in the improvement of creative environment for theatre and dance including the establishment of Steep Slope Studio, he has been in charge of project and facility management mainly at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No. 1. Since 2017, he has also been working on a grant program for training of young artists and for establishment of bases for activities at Arts Commission Yokohama.

Moved to Germany in 1996 and graduated from Ruhr-Universität Bochum. A freelance communicator specializing in interpretation, translation, coordination and management of cultural projects. Since 2013, she has been co-curating an experimental performing arts program "NIPPON PERFORMANCE NIGHT" at Forum Freies Theater (FFT), a free scene production venue in Düsseldorf. To date, she has invited from Japan artists such as chelfitsch, Zan Yamashita, Kukangendai, Chikara Fujiwara, Norimizu Ameya and dracom and ASUNA.

Grzegorz Reske is a performing arts producer and curator based in Warsaw. Since 2018 he is the president of Performing Arts Institute; an independent organization established to support artistic development and internalization of performing arts in Poland. He curates festivals and interdisciplinary projects that cross over performing and visual arts. His most recent works includes Konfrontacje Teatralne Festival (with Marta Keil 2012-2017), collaborating with Gallery Labirynt in Lublin, Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw and Kalisz Theatre Meetings. He is a permanent associate of East European Performing Arts Platform and Board Member of IETM International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts.

Karima Mansour graduated with a B.A and M.A. in Contemporary Dance from the London Contemporary Dance School, having completed a B.A in Film from the High Institute of Cinema, Academy of Arts in Cairo. She founded her company MAAT for Contemporary Dance in 1999, the first independent dance company in the country, and formed MAAT for Contemporary Art. She has created over 20 choreographic works that continue to be performed at International festivals, and over 20 collaborations in Theatre and Film. Mansour is current founder & Artistic Director of the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center. She continues to works as a freelance choreographer, performer and teacher nationally and internationally.

Kristiina Reidolv is the General Manager and Board Member of Vaba Lava (Open Space), the International Performing Arts Centre and Production House in Estonia, which promotes and develops artistic interdisciplinary projects, international co-productions and performances from Europe and the rest of the world. She is also a member of the International Federation of Theatre Research (IFTR). Inga Koppel is the international relations coordinator/projects manager and co-programmer. Her responsibility is to maintain relations between international artists/companies on the Vaba Lava programme and cultural institutes, embassies and financiers.

ricca ricca*festa is an annual international performing arts festival for children, young people and families which takes place in Okinawa at the end of July. The festival presents 20-30 productions from Japan and abroad over a week and also organises co-productions and meeting programmes for professionals. Based in Tokyo, Nao is mainly in charge of the festival’s international programmes, co-productions and networking.

Director of the Museum of Art, Kochi since April 2007, after working as the arts coordinator there for many years. Fujita has organised numerous films, theatre, dance and music projects in the museum's 399 seat hall, including co-productions with names such as Dumb Type and Pina Bausch. Most recently, has has been working on independent productions of stage works, and inviting international groups for co-production and residencies.
