MIRRORS is a double bill show; one is called Parallel World in the Mirrors and the other is Rie Tashiro’s own solo dance piece. During the two days for the performance, Zou-no-hana terrace is going to turn into a shining dance performance space which is inspired by the idea of seeing and being seen. Enjoy the collaboration of dance and space filled with lights and reflection. Mirrors are mysterious tools that split someone into a viewing self and a self being viewed, blurring the borderline between those states. These blurred borders do not only exist in mirrors. The line between our selves and the world is always ambiguous, and in the very moment of dancing the division between dream and reality is never certain. Since there is no guarantee the world we see is reality, what is reality after all?
