EASTAP(European Association for the Study of Theatre and Performance)は、研究者が個人単位で参加する新しいアソシエーションで、各地のフェスティバルと協働して言説プログラムを展開しようとしています。

At the University of Bergen, Norway, students in 1983 took initiative to create a festival, later to become a programming theatre BIT Teatergarasjen. This was also supported on an academic level, and the festivals that BIT organizes have had theory and practice interwoven, of which the latest manifestation was the “Landscape Dramaturgy” seminars at the Meteor festival in 2017. At the foundation in 2017 of the European Association for the Study of Theatre and Performance (EASTAP) at the initiative of professor Josette Féral (Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3), Knut Ove Arntzen (University of Bergen) proposed this model as one of its working aims. Arntzen and two artistic directors who studied with him shares the experience and introduces what EASTAP seeks to do in conjunction with festivals.
