The Performance Troupe TAIHEN invites guest performers with physical disability who are capable of moving, crawling or rolling across the stage (a distance of about 8 meters) alone wearing a leotard. “Kuroko” is a term in Kabuki that refers to the anonymous stage assistants dressed in black who, in TAIHEN’s performances, assists the performers enter and exit the stage. The open call is only in Japanese. The deadline is January 10, 2020.
