A historical building that has been watching over the city for 90 years at the entrance of Isazaki Mall. In 2016, its underground space has been renovated and reborn as a new space aiming “Creative support by private sectors”. The space has been used for various types of works such as theatre, dance, music and video. The priority will be given to companies/artists that can utilize the characteristics of the venue and area where it stands.

BankART SILK has moved into Silk Center 1F designed by Junzo Sakakura back in 1959. This glass-sided space is closed to Yamashita Park and functions mainly as a gallery space.

Opened in 1964. A gallery that has more than a half-century of history. The gallery has 6 exhibition rooms as a presentation/showing space and an atelier as a creation space for Yokohama citizens and others. Moreover, 3 featured exhibitions: “New Artists Today Exhibition” (Sep~Oct), “Collection Exhibition”(Feb~Mar), and “Yokohama Children’s Art Exhibition” (Jul~Aug), and various lectures and workshops for different ages are held throughout the year. The gallery’s collection is about 1300 works centering on artists who have a connection to Yokohama.

YCC Yokohama Creativecity Center is a facility located in the historic Former Dai-ichi Bank Yokohama Branch, built in 1929 (partially rebuilt), and is one of the core facilities of the Creative City Measures being implemented by the City of Yokohama. The event space on the 3rd floor is equipped with a large movable walls that can be used for multiple purposes, to partition the space or to serve as screens for projection.

ST Spot is an experimental performance space established in November 1987. It is supported by the City of Yokohama and its operations are overseen by the ST Spot Board of Directors.
