· Profile: Baby-Q is a multimedia performance group that works collaboratively with dancers, actors, musicians, visual artists, robot designers (Destroyed Robot) and other artists. We have created a stage where the satire and wit of today's society flow to its roots. Choreographer, HIGASHINO Yoko started modern dance and ballet in 1982, and founded “Dance Company BABY-Q” in 2000. She also does solo works and sessions with various musicians and improvisational performers at galleries, nightclubs, music venues and outdoors. She received the Toyota Choreography Award 2004 “The prize of the next generation Choreographer” and Yokohama Solo×Duo <Competition>+2005 “grand prize”.

· Profile: YCAM provides long-lead incubation, research, development and presentation facilities for media-arts based performance. Here we present two pieces developed and produced by YCAM. In 2005, French choreographer and dancer Jean-Baptiste ANDRE collaborated with musician AOKI Takamasa and media artist MATSUMOTO Noriko to create the solo dance pieces “HiDDEN FACES / FACES CACHeES”. “1x60” was created in 2006, the result of a collaboration between French-Canadian dancer Paul-Andre FORTIER with media artist MINAMI Takao.

· Profile: NAKAMURA Shinji was active in Europe as a dancer for seven years, with companies like Micha Van HOECKE's L'Ensemble, which has brought out many well-known choreographers including Maguy MARIN. There, he studied the method of dance theater, which is a combination of theater and dance that is rich in humanity and conveys messages. After returning to Japan, he founded Natural Dance Theatre with dance artist KAWANO Mako in 1987 to create works of dance as composite art.
