Profile: The Komaba Agora Theater, under the leadership of artistic director Oriza Hirata, has drawn much attention as a creative site. We provide all kinds of information and services regarding the performing arts. We offer high quality selections of our own. We also use the patrons-of-the-theater system, a practice which is still rather rare in Japan. Our activities further extend to supporting Tokyo productions of regional theater groups and carrying out international exchange projects on a continuing basis. We are a nation-wide and international information clearing house and meeting place.
