Guided by the “Book of Adventure” with some options to choose from, the audience is invited to walk around freely within a large but designated field, get lost in the streets, and encounter the real people living there and the real history of the place. Commissioned by blanClass, the first ENGEKI QUEST was created in the Miura Peninsula in July 2014. It has participated in the Honmoku Art Project 2014 and Theater ZOU-NO-HANA 2014.

BricolaQ

A unit of Chikara Fujiwara and Makiko Ochi, BricolaQ publishes critiques of performing arts, interviews with artists, and other publications. Since 2014, the unit has been producing ENGEKI QUEST, a series of orienteering-style “walk-and-watch” performances in various locations. Three works have been done so far in the Miura Peninsula, Yokohama Honmoku, and ZO-NO-HANA Terrace (Yokohama).
