The study / groove space provides an experimental set-up to share the ongoing artistic research on choreographic groove by Sebastian Matthias. The series explores the urban groove regarding its specific somatic, spatial and acoustic properties, in collaboration with visual and sound artists as well as light and costume designers. During the study / groove space the performers dance and move among the installation of the research materials including sketches and pictures and the audience can look and even walk around the space freely during the presenation.
