Only for the two days! The revival of “Go-Go Café” in Kannai, Yokohama! Somewhere between the past and the future, the Showa (60s and 70s Japan) parallel world of the dance and happenings at the Go-Go café Animal Lounge invites you for a psychedelic journey.
Please note that the cast will change every day. Featuring the seven coolest dancers and companies on the dance floor each day! A go-go contest before each performance! Experience the “participatory dance showcases”!

Kuriko Saito
Illustrator for the art information magazine TH series. Her Kinbaku Karuta (Bondage Game Cards) is on sale at the Village / Vanguard bookstores. Saito has been dancing at various kinds of places ranging from the NHK TV programs to nightclubs.

Yumiko Minami
Dancer, choreographer. Has participated in various dance festivals including KOREA / JAPAN Dance Contact and Yokohama Dance Collection R2010. Won the Audience Award at the Dance ga Mitai! Festival New Dancers Series #8 in 2010. Minami began the “Bar Yumiko” series in 2012, and the “ONDOSA” series in 2013.

Kaeru P
Dance unit of Koji Oozono and Noriyasu Hashimoto. Won the Grand-Prix at the first Condors Choreography Competition in 2009. Participated in the “Dance Impact” at Kichijoji Theater, and the TPAM Showcase in 2014 with Kaitei no Yagi (Goat of the Seabed). Currently in creation a new piece within the program of JCDN’s “Odori ni Ikuze! ” II .

Kon Saito
Performed in Sei Kigawa’s Odoritai kedo Odorenai and Tadaima no Okaeri—The Futako-Tagawa Yuenchi Jidai Vol.1 to 3. He also choreographed the third edition of the piece. He can also do lighting, and capoeira.

Die Tokyo Dance Crew
A “destructive” dance company, founded in 2014 by Kenji Shinohe. They have participated in Dance New Air 2014, Tama 1km Festival, and Dance ga Mitai! New Dancers Series 13.

Ippei Shintaku
Began dancing when he met Toru Iwashita. Participated in the works of Zan Yamashita and Tenko Ima in Kyoto. After moving to Tokyo, he joined Kim Itoh’s Glorious Future. Shintaku formed his own group Dododo Mori in 2011.
