Founded in 2006, the KAMS concentrates on provision of supports and services related to international exchange, and on enhancement of the competitiveness of the Korean performing arts. Especially, the KAMS offers diverse research, consulting and educational programs for those in the field to boost the industrial competitiveness of the Korean arts, forming various exchange strategies tailored for different regions and helping tap on overseas markets through its network of international partners. The KAMS also wishes to serve as a useful vehicle for sharing experiences to survive the dramatic challenges from changing art policies, economic turmoil and changing relationships with fans that the global performing arts community has lately faced.

Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) / Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS)
The Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS) is an international platform that takes place every October under the organization of the Korea Arts Management Service, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Its aim is to promote creation and production activity in the performing arts and encourage rational distribution and overseas expansion. In addition to being a channel for the distribution of finished performances, PAMS has also provided a wealth of opportunities for communication, sharing, and cooperation. With the running theme of “Creative Cooperation_Conception to Circulation,” it has focused attention on the role of the performing arts professionals working organically throughout this process.
