As we are the only ward-run theater in the “theater town, Ikebukuro,” and also, as a place to create, transmit and develop performing arts, we provide performance programs mainly comprised by self-producing or co-hosting stage shows, and training programs such as workshops and lectures. We aim to be a theater where “people meet the arts.”
OWL SPOT Theater
The OWL SPOT, Toshima Performing Arts Center, is a black box type theater with 301 seats that allows the audience to feel a part of the performance. The compact theater design produces a rich environment for drama and other performing arts, and features a roomy stage, cozy audience seating, and a full range of equipment.
