Onda and Institut français du Japon aim together at the development of the France–Japan artistic exchanges, and selected a group of artists belonging to the dynamic French contemporary scene in theater, dance and circus, for TPAM.

Onda — French Office for Contemporary Performing Arts Circulation / Institut français du Japon
Onda — French Office for Contemporary Performing Arts Circulation encourages and supports the dissemination of contemporary forms of performing arts through expertise, advice, networking, and financial support. It is funded by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. On 1 September 2012, the Tokyo-Yokohama, Kyoto and Fukuoka establishments merged with the Cultural Service of the Embassy of France to form the Institut français du Japon.
Cultural exchanges have been at the heart of Franco-Japanese relations since the Meiji era. The original spirit of cooperation is preserved today through strong partnerships with the most important Japanese institutions while also actively addressing contemporary artists. The IFJ programmes more than 300 cultural projects a year to propose the best of French culture, working in close collaboration with Japanese cultural actors.
