With the concept and belief that “real revolution extends beyond the confines of the theater” Miss Revolutionary Idol Berserker delivers their signature style with a series of guerrilla performances that create one story as a whole for this year’s Yokohama tour. Our hope is to instill in our viewers a sense of the cultural value of performance outside of the theater where performers are able to interact with the audience more freely.

Toco Nikaido

Born in 1986. Director, Choreographer, Actress. Graduate of J.F. Oberlin University’s College of Performing and Visual Arts and founder of the theatre troupe Miss Revolutionary Idol Berserker. The troupe kicked off 2013 with a three-country European tour that was enthusiastically received by the company’s first audience abroad. Toco hopes to connect people around the world with Japan’s enticingly spunky and savage youth subculture.
