In this production I deal with the image of language that is conceived by the audience who watch a dancer’s body dancing in front of them. “Coca-Cola” is the key image of the dance, and I as a director try to deconstruct and choreograph the gaze of the audience that could be coded in certain way in their daily lives. about ANGELS was originally performed at TPAM in Yokohama 2012, and this time we welcome Kornkarn Rungsawang from Pichet Klunchun Dance Company to recreate a new version.

Yujiro Sagami

Born in 1982. Director from Fukui prefecture. His latest production is Navigations (2014) in which he tries to reconstruct the relationship between body and its surroundings. He has collaborated with 17 of Fukui citizens whose ages range from 17-74 in some previous works such as It used to be there, DRAMATHOLOGY. He also directed Takuma Nakahira, Image with a head start and about ANGELS.
