Constanza Macras
Constanza Macras was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied dance and fashion design, at the Buenos Aires University (UBA). She continued her dance studies in Amsterdam and New York (Merce Cunningham Studios). In 1995, Macras moved to Berlin. In 2003 she created Constanza Macras | DorkyPark and since then they have presented new works every year. In autumn 2012, their outdoor performance in a forest in Wales was well received. Their works, created by dancers, actors, musicians of a range of genres and generations, take all types of elements into one worldview. Among their works are Here / After (2011), Megalopolis (2009) and Hell on Earth (2008).
