[Booth No.43]Belarus Free Theatre (Belarus)

Belarus Free Theatre (BFT) was founded in March 2005. It holds the annual International Competition of Contemporary Drama. Performances are held secretly due to the dictatorial regime in Belarus and the risk of persecution. BFT has produced 11 performances and performed in 14 countries. BFT is supported by Vaclav Havel, Mick Jagger, Harold Pinter, Mark Ravenhill, Tom Stoppard and Ariane Mnouchkine. BFT is a full member of ETC, IETM, and TEH. In 2007, BFT received French Republic Human Rights Prize. In 2008 it was awarded with Europe Theatre Prize/Special Mention after having been nominated for it by its patrons.

Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) was established 2006, is a non-profit and public foundation for development of Korean performing and visual arts. With supports from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Korea, KAMS offers multifaceted assistance for the purpose of bolstering the sustainability of arts groups and organizations. Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS) was established in 2005, and has been organized by KAMS since 2006 annually. PAMS provides a viable and professional performing arts networking opportunity, bringing together artists, producers and venues.

Mancopy© Dansekompagni is a repertory modern dance company based in Aarhus, Denmark. Founded in 2004 by artistic director Jens Bjerregaard, the company consists of a professional dance company of 4-6 dancers and a youth company for talents in the age of 14-19. Apart from its own productions, the company is engaged in presenting and promoting national and international dance companies locally. The company has obtained a permanent venue, creating a centre of choreography in Aarhus called Archauz, the first center of its kind in Denmark. Poland's first professional contemporary dance company, established in 1991 in the city of Bytom by Director/Choreographer Jacek Luminski, has developed a new dance form and style based on the rich cultural traditions of Poland. It is considered to be incomparable and innovatory wherever abroad the company performs and teaches. The Silesian Dance Theatre has performed and taught throughout Poland and in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Russia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Israel, India, China and several times in the USA and Canada.

The Togolese exhibitors work in the culture sector and promote the performing arts: dance, theater and music. The ZIGAS Company, supported by the Ministry of Communication and Culture, has been representing our country in various festivals in countries such as Belgium and France. In TPAM 2009, we wish to contribute to promotion of Togolese culture in Asia, bringing various Togolese dance, music and songs on CD and DVD. Our delegates would have to perform some demonstrations of how to play djembé and traditional dance, and we will to distribute the touristic pictures for the TOGO destination. The Togolese Ministry of Culture is supporting the operation.
