The Museum of Art, Kochi

Since the Museum of Art, Kochi was established in 1993, we’ve held excellent arts works by both domestic and foreign artists. The Museum Hall, with a seating capacity of 399, holds approximately 10 shows a year, including dance performances, theatrical plays, and concerts at any genres of performing arts. In recent years, we have produced performances by various artists connected to Kochi Prefecture, and other uniquely distinguished artists from Japan and around the globe. We have presented some co-collaboration projects and Artist in Residence Program with international artists to develop the possibilities as a local cultural hub.
